  • Saving for a down payment (typically 3-20% of the home’s price, but VA loans require $0 down for eligible military buyers and there are some other 0% options that could be availble!)

  • Getting pre-approved for a mortgage (this shows sellers you’re a serious buyer and helps determine your budget)
